Interested in joining Charm City LUG? Becoming a member is a piece of cake! Just follow the instructions provided below

First things first...

Just join! You don’t have to be a formal member to attend our in-person meetings or events. Almost all of our events are free to the public, and our meetings are open to any Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) (18+). Joining our events or meetings is a great way to get to know more about our LEGO User Group (LUG) and see if we are the right community for you and your interest in the hobby.

Once on our list, you will receive periodic emails about Club activities, meeting announcements, and details about upcoming events. We do not sell or pass on your name, email, or other contact details to any third parties.

In addition to the email mailing list, Charm City LUG maintains a privately moderated Discord server for active discussion and engagement by LUG members and other members of the AFOL community. To join the Discord server, please email us at charmcitylug@gmail.com, and we will send you the direct link. You can also speak to one of our Club Officers when you attend your first meeting.

Ready to Formally Join?

If you think you are ready to officially join and become a voting member of Charm City LUG, you simply need to pay the dues for the year. You can make this payment via cash or check in person, or via Venmo using the link provided via email announcements. Annual Dues for 2026 are $35.

To be eligible to vote in LUG decisions and elections, and to participate in exclusive LEGO-affiliated programs, you must maintain ‘Active Member’ status. This is achieved by attending at least four official LUG events per year.

Important Membership Information

No person shall be excluded or deterred from membership based on race, religion, sexual orientation, color, national origin, disability, political affiliation, etc. Charm City LUG members must adhere to the following to be considered eligible for membership:

  1. Be an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) (18+)
  2. Treat the AFOL community and The LEGO Group (TLG) in a positive and respectful manner
  3. Respect the rights of fellow Charm City LUG members
  4. Adhere to TLG Policies of Fair Play, Novelty, IP Guidelines, or Brand Values
  5. Adhere to all applicable State and Federal laws
  6. Adhere to the Charm City LUG Bylaws
  7. Adhere to the Charm CIty LUG Code of Conduct
  8. Failure to meet the requirements of eligibility will result in loss of Active Membership
